Information: Copies ofold records from bmc,sales tax and income tax departments, bank

1. I want duly certified copies of following.
(a) from bmc(bombay municipal corpn)
shop and establishemtn licence from 1970 onwadrs of a company i purchased in 2005.
(b)copies of sales tax regisrtation certificates from 1970 onwards.
(c)copies of balance sheets filed with i.t.dept.from 1970 onwards.
(d) copies of account opening froms from indian bank from 1970 onwards.
(e)copies of partnership deed files with registrar of firms, mumbai from 1970 onwards.

Can i get all these informations/documents from respective departments under rti act?

For item d pl visit website of concerned bank-rti icon and file application with CPIO by refering to my blog at http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...govt-info.html. For item c file RTI appln with CPIO of I. T. Office of the area of the company by following format at http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...govt-info.html. Pl unfailingly mention that U have purchased the company in 2005 and send copies of proof of purchase etc. Pl also give as much info U have of the old company to enable the dept to locate records. Even with RTI this is a time consuming work and will require regular follow up with first or second appeals etc.Details of first and second appeals are available in my blogs and guide section [top right of this page] of this portal.
