A Process in not Informtion as prescribed U/s 2 of RTI Act

An appplication was filed to seek Investigation process of Cognizable Offence.
To further reinforce the request for information as asked, a similar RTI reply, send by the PIO of same office was enclosed with the RTI application.
Despite, so the PIO rejected [quoting not ifno U/s 2 (f)] applicaiton w/o giving reasons how he had come to the conclusion, merely quoting the bare clause of the Act

Query:
Investigation process is not an information as prescribed U/s 2 of RTI Act

or

it is an opinion or advice
“Section 2(f):
"Information" means any material in any form, including records, documents, memos, e-mails, opinions, advices, press releases, circulars, orders, logbooks, contracts, reports, papers, samples, models, data material held in any electronic form and information relating to any private body which can be accessed by a public authority under any other law for time being in force.”
Please answer the Query R/W with the similar RTI reply [attachment] from the PIO of same department

The phraseology being used is very important. By investigation process, what do you mean? Is it the report of investigation or the findings of investigation or the procedure of investigation or status of investigation?

If you are asking information under RTI Act, you must pinpoint the information available and under the control of the PIO in material form.

The application was filed after geting the similar RTI reply send by the PIO of the same office

Information sought is the process during investigation as quoted by the PIO his similar RTI reply

which is stated in this in his first line starts with "Generally during investigation..."
