    Here's a bit of information for statistically minded persons. This is regarding complaints and appeals rejected & returned by the Central Information Commission because of apparent deficiencies.

    Of late the rejections have reduced in number. Looks like RTI awareness is increasing.

    Thanks Sidmis, for the useful info. I can see the number of rejections have decreased this year compared to the same period last year.
    Is it possible to know what sort of deficiencies may have resulted in rejection of these complaints or appeals made under provisions of TRI.

    I can see the number of rejections have decreased this year compared to the same period last year.
    May be the CIC has a change of heart being a little bit lenient.

    The actual reasons of rejection varies and not known. Actually it's the Registrar/Jt. Registrars/Asst. Registrars who do the scrutiny and are responsible for rejecting & returning these appeals & complaints.
