sweets sampal of my choice

sir as every body knows that there is so much of adltration in sweets these and the many concerned officials are hand in gloves with the shopkeepers. Can SPIO Public health departments be asked to provide sampel of sweets drom different shops of my choice under RTI. Because it is there duty to maintain that the healthy food be supplied all the times. if yes how the application can be drafted

I doubt if samples fron non-PA can be obtained that too of perishable items. Even if U get it, it is difficult to get them tested in govt lab.To sensitize the dept pl file RTI applications asking for number of inspections done in last year, action initiated on defaulters, number of court cases, inspector-wise performance, proactive disclosure of the dept, set duties of inspectors, property details of top 5 officials of the dept etc etc. This will make them run. File such appln every year or half-year basis. U can report deficiencies to their controlling ministry at capital level.
