Hi ,
I am a new user of this site, i need your urgent help, i dont know anything about filling RTI,even how to made RTI.below is the case.
someone filled a RTI in UGC for his case status and history about disciplanary action against him.but he/she was not satisfied with the anwer provided by authorties,then he made complaint in CIC regarding the and CIC take the nassecerry action and reloslved the case.

I am attaching a CIC judgment along with this theared.

please, can anybody suggest me that how can i get the detail of the disciplanary action,the Departmental proceedings and case is running on him in UGC.on behalf of this judgment.

The applicant should have carried out inspection of record of UGC and asked the PIO to give him certified copies of papers required by him. If PIO is not arranging inspection or not cooperating despite request from applicant, he can again complain to CIC for non-compliance of its decision by PIO.

Thanks for the reply,
but I dont wants that he(who filed the RTI) let it know that i am inquiring about the status from UGC.IN this case, can i file the RTI in UGC to get information about him.
what was the case against him.

It is for personel reason.It can be help me to save me and my parents harras by someone in false allegation. only this i can tell you.Please help me.

Such personal info are not provided under RTI unless larger public interest is involved.

Dear virender,

Nothing stops you seeking details of a particular RTI Query even if that is not related to you.

The very fact that a particular information was given out by a Public Authority implies that some public interest is involoved and the same is in public domain now.

As regard to keeping your identity secret is a tough job. Use someone for the same.

So go ahead and seek it. Cite some public interest if you can.
