Re: information asked by spouse

u mean to ask whether you can pursue your wife's RTI application filed to some office ?

in such a case you can file an authority letter to the PIO and can proceed on behalf of your wife.

Re: information asked by spouse

If your wife has filed the application, she only will be provided the information unless she authorizes you to collect the same.

Information can be provided to her at home (by post) unless she want to collect it personally or authorizes you or someone to collect it by hand.

Re: information asked by spouse

I forsee two situations.

In case your wife seeks information about general office matters she can do the same without any hinderances. you can pursue it if you have to. In that case you have to get authorisation from your wife.

But if she seeks information on you (in case both of you are at loggerheads) then you become a third party and third party exemptions may come into play.

In that scenario she has also a chance of collecting information on your salary etc if she handles it well.
