UHBVN launched a VDS scheme of extention of load when people approached them they started charging fees on previous load also and thus collected huge amount from various districts. I moved a RTI application regarding this, the news was got published in news parers also the officials of the departmet were contacted , The effect of this excsice was that now the department have withdrawn and started charging fees only only etented load only. The department have collected huge money in this wau and now they are saying that money charged in previous load will be adjusted in the future bills. Thousands of people in many districts now will be benifited.
