    Assets declaration by CIC, Haryana State Information Commissio

    Dear friends,
    The undersigned asked for Assets details of all the Hon'ble Information Commissioners of Haryana vide undersigned RTI application dated 11th April 2011 but the Learned SPIO denied this information as according to her " it is not held by her". The first appeal was filed under Section 19(1) of the RTI Act 2005 before FAA cum Under Secretary, SIC who too expressed his helplessness and then second appeal was filed under section 19((3) of the Act before Hon'ble CIC, SIC who declared his Assets there and then and even is asking his fellow valued colleagues to do the same.
    Let us applaud the right decisions of SIC which, touch wood, is becoming proactive to address the problems faced by information seekers in Haryana.

    Great success ,with the same honesty, the SIC should impose penalty on the SPIO so that the RTI act can live long.
