I read in the news today that India is ranked 1st in Bribery Index. Surely the report was meant to shock, to agitate, and even to anger Indians. Yet, in the face of news that an international watchdog group has just labeled his country home to the world's biggest bribers.

Switzerland was given the highest grade by the global anticorruption group.

Will RTI ever be able to move India up the ladder?

I hope RTI will help this index to turn around. The Government will be come transparent and accountable and would reveal a lot in future.
