Question: Pending Results from Nagpur University - Rajan

My son, R. Rajan joined the KDK college of engineering under the erstwhile Nagpur University in the year 1999. He was in the last batch under the Annual pattern after which the semester pattern started. His final (4th) year was in 2003 but however he was unable to clear 5 out of 11 papers of the final year. Hence he had to appear for supplimentary exams that had to continue till 2006 summer due to his health concerns. In 2006 June he appeared for the remaining 2 papers; the results for which have not been declared yet. We have been approaching the university controller of examinations, the vice chancellor and also sought legal help but all in vain. Please advise what action we should take and how do we go about to get this sorted?

My name is Rajan Ragupathi, B.E Final Year (Electrical Engg) Batch 1999-2000 under the Nagpur University. My batch was the last one under the annual pattern, as the next batch started off with the semester pattern. I have cleared all my papers for 1st, 2nd & 3rd year, and left with a few back log papers of final year. Due to certain medical reasons, I was unable to appear for the supplementary papers for Winter 2004 and had 2 papers left for which I appeared in Summer 2006. The result for this term has remained pending till date due to uncertain reasons put forward by the University. It's now been more than 2 years and some students from the last batch are still waiting for results. Inspite of speaking to the University Vice Chancellor, Controller of Examinations and seeking legal help we still have not found any solution for this.
I need your advice and guidance as to what should be my next course of action in order to complete my BE degree at the earliest. Pease guide me in detail.

Rajan, your Dad has already raised this issue and this forum has suggested to seek RTI remedy. We would like to know of further developments if any.
