Dear Sir I have applied for passport in July 2008, after that i had police enquiry, but i have not received my passport yet. When checked the status its showing "Police verification not received". Please tell me what should be the next step. Thanks and Regards Sajith Nair      |

Hi, I am also havng the problem with the passport office. I have given my passport in the hyd passport office to add my spouse name on 24SEPT2008. At that time they told you will get the passport in 15 days. I have the Valid VISA in my passport so thay have returned by stamping the Extended issue of Fresh booklet on same day. But till now I don't have any information on that. I met the PRO 2 times till date & I ahve shown the USA VISA interview(16OCT2008) letter but there is no use. He simply says your file is pending from 24SEPT2008. After 24 SEpt2008 that our staff have not worked anything. If I ask PRO when do I get the Passport he says I am not sure. I have given the appliaction and he simply says I will give your application to the concerned dept. I am not sure what happening in the Hyderabad passport office. I have took the sign on my appliaction with PRO on 14OCT2008. I am travelling to USA & Qatar next week. Can I riase the RTI on the Hyderabad passport office? before leaving. If I raise if I need to come hyderbad its very difficult for me. Please suggest. Thanks B.Reddy |
