Housing society and RTI

Recently I filed a RTI to my cooperative housing society regarding some information.I received a reply that Housing cooperative society doesn't come under the purview of RTI and hence my RTI is dismissed.
Similarly I filed a RTI to Registrar COOPERATIVE society delhi regarding the information from the society but he also refused to provide me information giving me the same reason.
Can anyone suggest me how I can get information from my housing society under what section or rule of the Law of RTI or housing ACT

You should insist that Registrar should access the information from the concerned ghs and provide the same to you as per last two lines (red text) of Section 2(f) of the RTI Act 2005 (reproduced below):

Section 2(f) "information" means any material in any form, including records, documents, memos, e-mails, opinions, advices, press releases, circulars, orders, logbooks, contracts, reports, papers, samples, models, data material held in any electronic form and information relating to any private body which can be accessed by a public authority under any other law for the time being in force;
