Re: Non-Clearance of my PF from my earlier org.

It is the duty of the employer to forward the employee's application for withdrawal from EPF account within the stipulated time limit. The time limit laid down under the EPF Scheme is just FIVE days in the event of a employee retiring or migrating from India for permanent settlement abroad or terminated from service due to retrenchment or VRS. In other cases the employer is expected to get the claim application duly filled in and attested and to give the same to the employee for submission to the Provident Fund Commissioner after completion of two months provided the employee remains unemployed till then. If the employer fails to do so you may directly submit the application to the EPF authorities who will get it attested by the employer and do the needful for settlement. For other details about EPF you may refer to my blog - http://www.rtiindia.org/forum/blogs/...und-guide.html
