Property tax for Shikhar A/503, Sanghvi nagar, mira bhayandar road, mira road (E), Dist Thane 401107.
I have a received a property tax bill from Mira Bhayandar Mahanagarpalika for 2011-12, but they have added the arrears of the last year amounting to Rs. 13405.00 Plus current amt Rs. 13771.00 total amt Rs. 27176.00. They have addedd Shashti BPMC Sec 267A. Just donot understand why Shashti (penalty) is charged. Also note builder has just handed over the society to us last month.
Are we liable to pay this property tax, pl advice. And how to get rid of this penalty.
