Pio returns fee money after first appeal filed. What to do?

dear sir,

i sought info from the jal sansthan, lucknow vide my rti app dt 12 09.11

since i got no reply i sent a first appeal on 13.10.2011.

i have got no reply to first appeal till today.

however on oct 2, 2011 i got a letter from the PIO returning the draft, but retaining the app for information, stating that the draft is to be made out in the name , which was given by them.

how do i act on this letter which has been received by the pio returning the draft fee and asking for another draft in the name of another body , after the first appeal has been filed.

PIO is right. His clock of 30 days stop when he dispatched the letter to you for removing the defect in the application. The clock we resume when the correct draft or Application fee reaches him.

I suggest you send him Postal Order instead of draft.
