I have one property : old house in Chamarajapet, Bengaluru. This property was allotted to my grandfather.
My grandfather was allotted 60'*40' site, he has sold 60' * 20' to his friend

To take a bank loan,I need the moola patra, or original sale deed. I can not find that moola patra or sale deed anywhere. It is not with thoose to whom my grandpa sold the property.

Where can I find that saledeed?

Any advocates in Bangalore, who can help me with this??
Your response/help is greatly appreciated

Registration Act allow a person to search old deeds at the Sub Registrar's Office. If you are keen to get it, you have patienence, prepared to spare some time and if it is registeed deed, you will be able to locate it at the Sub Registrars office. Once it is located, you can ask for its copy as per the Rules on Registration Act prevelent in your place. There is no other way.

Re: Moola patra: sale deed

If U want help of an advocate, pl visit 2-3 nationalised bank branch in your area and ask for names and contact details of their advocates on panel of the bank. These advocates do search in sub-registrar office regularly for bank loans. Searching sub-registrar records is a tedious job which only advocates can properly undertake as they are used to such work on regular basis.
