Question: Second Appeal to Rajasthan Information Commission (RIC)

Hi Friends,
I had filed a second appeal to Rajasthan Information Commission (RIC) in Jaipur about 3 - 4 weeks back. I haven't received any reply from them. When I called them up at their office they said that there is a staff shortage and that it would take another 2 - 3 weeks to register the appeal. Then it would be seen that the appeal is fit to be taken up. After that the notice would be given to the other party and me for hearing.
Please let me know whether I can do something in this regard as they (RIC) are taking too much time for starting the hearing of my second appeal. Can I complain to someone regarding this ? Is there someone above RIC whom I can complain to and get the case started quickly.
I request the members to please share their thoughts on this.

SIC may take time depending upon the pendency level. You can approach the CM to fill up all vacant posts of Information Commissioners with competent people, so that pendency would be reduced and Appellants may get speedy justice.
