Getting copies of APAR
Dear members,
I am keen on getting copies of APAR in respect of certain Government officials who though entrusted with certain job profile do not perform their prescribed duties but get alleviated to higher portfolios. Can an RTI applicant get access to the APAR of other persons in the larger public interest.
Awaiting confirmation on the information desired.

Is it Authorized Program Analysis Report?
If it exists in a government office, you can have it through RTI.
A you have to do is to file a RTI Application with the concerned Public Authority along with the application fee which is normally Rs. 10.00 only.

If you can prove larger public interest, yes you can get a copy of others APAR.
