Need Help: My passport application came back

Hi,

I am a resident of Rajganj (under jalpaiguri district). My parents had sent passport application to Kolkata passport office through postal services under TATKAL scheme.
After 11/2 month, the application came back without notifying any reason for returning the application. I do not even found any receipt no. for the application on the returned aplication form.
Please help me on how should I proceed with the passport application.

U can send by speed ad post to concerned pass port office.

Thanks a lot for responding. I can surely send the application again by speed post. But what I am concerned is, my application reached to Kolkata passport office and came back. What if it get rejected again. How do I know the reason of being rejected. Please help me regarding this.

U can file RTI appln for knowing reasons for not issuing passport and sending it back without reason. U have to file RTI appln with the CPIO of Passport Office. Kolkata. Priti just tell me thet ur application was returned back on wat count. Ther can be many reason
1. Office refused to acccept it.
2. Address was wrong.
3. It might not have reached the office at all.
4. Office may have refused to accept.
5. Office might have received it but have returned u back.

there may be an endless list of reasons. Did u receive back ur application unopened? or was it opened?

There can be cours of action as per the reason of ur application returning back and the remedy will depend on the reason only.
