Once bitten, twice shy. This is too sensitive a topic to pass any comment as most of the netizens on
RTI including me are government servants, serving or retired. Any adverse comment against government servants, irrespective of the hard realities are likely to invite wrath of all Activists. Still, can't we think of the present cituation where 80% of the
CIC's capacity is utlised by government servants who are not likely to exceed 5% on issues concerning their service matters.Is no other government machinary available to them to resolve such problem ? Whatever little knowledge I have on service rules, the system has a built in scope for redressal of grievences. A honest and impartial comment on the issue is solicited.
