RTI to Transportation Dept
Hi,
I am fighting a legal battle against my spouse and I need information related to her.
She appeared for driving license test in Dec-2011. She failed the test and did not appear again.
I went to the RTO office to meet CPIO regarding information about her driving license application and I was told (personally) that the the files are not kept for more than one year after which they are burnt.
I'd like to know how to proceed on this?
Should I file an RTI anyway? If the files are indeed burnt, is there anyway I can get this information?
Also wanted to ask if there's any decision from CIC declaring that such information can be provided to third parties?
Thanks
