Can I ask copy of All RTI FIled and reply given

Hi,
I want to study some trends on RTI application and response.

Can I ask from any department to give me copy of all application and reply provided during one year duration under RI ACT?

Yes you can....but it will cost you a lot of money and depending on what type of department it is, the PIO might seek "third party" consent before providing you the information.

A better option may be - to seek file inspection of all RTI applications received during the period you want, and then request copies of the records as per your need and budget. This can be done through a single RTI application in which you seek file inspection specifying the records, and mention that following inspection, you will request photocopies of certain records that may please be provided to you on payment of the fees as per rules

This is great idea but I am staying in different state so visiting option is difficult but I could try when I plan to visit my home state.
But one good things is that, I see many department has uploaded quarterly reports how many RTI application they have received and responded so I know the deails of numbers .
