CIC rules that High Courts cannot have rules adding exemptions to those provide in the RTI Act
In two recent orders, th CIC has ruled that High Courts cannot frame rules which contain exemptions over and above those provided in the RTI act 2005.
The two orders against Rajasthan High Court and Kerala High Court are attached to this post.
