The Orders of the PSIC areas below:

In this view of the matter,it is a fit case where the PIO deserves to be imposed penalty of Rs.25,000/-. Accordingly, a penalty of Rs.25,000/-is imposed upon him which shall be paid by him from his salary before the nextdate of hearing and deposited in the Government Treasury under the relevantHead.. He is also directed to pay theamount of compensation awarded to the complainant and to provide him therequisite information before the next date of hearing.

The concerned DDO, PunjabState Power Corporation,Ltd. Bhago Majra, Distt. Ropar is directed to ensurethat the amount of penalty imposed uponthe PIO concerned is recovered from hissalary and deposited in the Government Treasury under the relevant Head as early as possible under intimation to theCommission.
