    Transparency officer appointed after RTI was filed

    I had filed a RTI application with the National Commission of Minorities (where Mr Habibullah, ex Chief Information Commissioner is the present Chairman).

    The PIO has given reason that he provided the information late since he wanted to give a positive reply to the applicant ! The decision to appoint a Transparency officer was taken after the RTI application was received.

    Order of the CIC is attached.
