different ways to file rti application?

dear friends,

what are the different ways to file rti application?

i am in mumbai and i want to file RTI application in a govt deot at new delhi.

what are the different ways to file such an application as I do not want travel to new delhi just to file an application?

Different ways means, you can follow the sample application or you can write as your own giving all the required information.

You can file the RTI application through the GPO .
Please enclose required application fee as a D/D or IPO and do give complete address of the CPIO in your application. The GPO would accept your application and forward the same to the concerned CPIO and give you or send you the endorsement of the forwarding letter.
