I am preparing a database of the decisions of CIC and State CIC's upheld or satyed by the Supreme Court of India and the High Courts. This information if available will be extremely useful for individuals who are planning to file an appeal under RTI. This information is currently not readily available. The only option is to go through the decisions of the High Court and Supreme Court. I do not wish to take that route. I am looking for suggestions to access this information readily.

I do plan to undertake the online database searching of the cases decided by the CIC/SCIC which will have option of searching the cases, based upon keywords, appellant, date, Applicability of the section of RTI Act, and other search criterion. I had already started this idea at Site feedback forum.

You should also include the decisions of Decisions of CIC and SCIC upheld or stayed by Supreme Court and/or High Courts. This would require monitoring the petitions filed in over twenty locations and its outcome.

My suggestion is to pursuade CIC and SCIC to post the decisions at their websites.

In one of the case Jharkhand goverment had gone to single bench in Jharkhand High Court which was rejected. Now the Government has gone for LPA. A decision is expected on 2.7.2007. I will post the complete record with decisions .....

I have been following some of the pending cases in High Courts against CIC. I have posted them on my web site Apka Adhikar . Anyone is welcome to download the writs that I have posted on web.

The President of India recently launched the Supreme Court website for linking the entire network of Courts at all levels! I suggest to Kushal and his colleagues to try to establish link on this!Hari Gautam Obhrai!
