Re: whether RTI really effects MCD officials

Instead of blaming the departments why dont we blame ourselves too ? Are we equally not responsible ? MCD is minting money because the number of people with encroachment are more then who have no encroachments. People living in glass houses cannot through stone on others.

Fight for the cause rather then blaming the departments. If you file an RTI application it has to be replied by the department. They may sometime site some technical reasons to delay the replies but ultimately they have to part with it.

Start with the applications and discuss with members of the forums before and after filing your application. You will be helped and guided on each and every step.

Lets blame ourselves first rather then blaming others.

Re: whether RTI really effects MCD officials

I got my first result from goodwishes from you all, SG/IC/CIC passed a order, a senior officer of MCD found gulity & punished under 20(1) & 20(2), it look a long journey.

Me now being harrased by the PIO, I was open threaten within the office of CIC on 20.08.09, a complaint was adviced/lodged with police.

Now again, due to interference from few effected officers, again hard decisions are avoided by IC/CIC

    1. Advise, what to do if not satified by decisions of CIC,

    2. I am victimised by using RTI, my personnel information were disclosed to third party even before warning not to disclose the same.

    3. CIC is also silent on my complaint lodged even with the police.

    Advise awaited from freinds, pls

    Dear Mr. Wadhwa

Congrats on your success with RTI.

    1. You can go to Court.

    2. As u have filed police complaint, better proceed with the same.

    3. Actions of CIC cannot be predicted. Please read threads available in this search: IC ordered to file FIR against appellant - Google Search

Dear RTI Activists, Creators, Visitors and others,

There is no one above LAW, all it takes is a Determined effort to bring the Wrong to Justice

Take a look at the CBI Website ( CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION), wherein MCD Officials and DDA Officials were chargesheeted in Corruption Cases and if you feel you have information where the MCD Officials have indulged in Corrupt activities please take actions of Filing a Complaint to the CBI and also in the Criminal Courts.

Do not leave the corrupt if you have evidence against them, seek the help of others to find how best you can bring them to justice.
    All the best

Re: whether RTI really effects MCD officials

    Dear freind

in my case I have asked some information from the MCD, but all in vain. I have filed appeal with first appelant aurthority. But result is zero. The Public Information Officers' have no time to heard the Appelant authority. There skin is like hyppo & the elephent.

despite the fee already deposited by me and about one year already passed the hon'ble court also ordered to the MCD to regularised my property. But the result is zero. Even the court has restricted MCD from taking any action from my proerty th MCD demolition sqard ahs visited my property a number of times to demolish the property. Reason is clear I want to follow law. But they follow other way.

If they have not followed the Court orders, you can initiate contempt of court proceedings. Automatically they will fall in line. It is a serious issue which no official, how ever high and powerful they are, won't risk.

Re: whether RTI really effects MCD officials

i have won case in CIC n by winning i meant i was able to expose and corruption which forced them to do the work in proper way.i am 21 yrs old student n it took almost a year to exactly frame the situation and make them fall.SO STEP BY STEP.if they are threatening file a complaint and u can even DM for protection,u can also tell CIC COMMISSIONER whatever happened to you, commissioners like SHAILESH GANDHI are really helpful and they even write to police commissioner and home ministry in severe cases for help.you can directly approach court if police is not taking adequate action.dnt give up in the middle,u have police complaint+u have high court orders in your favour,go to court directly for contempt of court, dont deal them personally.

Re: whether RTI really effects MCD officials

    Dear Sirs ,
we are here for kind of solution not for kind of discussion, if I am wrong have no right to file or raise any question before any authority(s), its our inner voice so that some where we are fighting for some cause, MCD ppls are very currupt they are using our RTI application for own Gain,
as I filled a Compliant in Delhi Jal Board ( illigal water use in Construction work) in reply ( I got three Reply on same Application) every reply replied by one PIO and all reply(s) were diffrent and FAA order for site surveyed along with PIO and site telling diffrent story after 30 days I still awaiting a reply, and same with MCD West zone Bldg Department , in three RTI
1st Application details about specific Plot No , all question having same reply ,owner denied to supply any information,
in 2nd RTI asked about Number of unauthorised construction in west Zone but they give false and fabricated reply ,
3rd application asked about wealth of JE/AE/ EX at the time of joining and current year , they replied details are not availbale with us & refer to other department,
They are not keen to reply and using same application to blackmail Builder and minting money ,

in Appeals minimu time more then 08 -10 month till then one Building take shape and same building declared as alteration and NOC issued to them

we are fighting for one casue as our areas are overburden by Builder Mafia, we are fighting daily for parking space , Sanitation sytems are overburdens , Water supply not enough, electricity supply ( local system) over burden ,
every one have on issue so we need good directionfrom our fellow fighters
    Regards
