Use of RTI to counter School fee hike

Dear Friends,
Hi I am a qualified professional and have used RTI on a no of occassions to get the information.
Presently, we are focusiing on the issue of proposed fee hike by the schools wef 2006 onward. (Specifically in Delhi)
Pls note that the schools are already charging good amount of fees by various names, regular fees and one time fees. The result is that the schools are able to increase their branches on yearly basis. Still, the management of the schools claim that they are running the schools under losses for social cause.
I request you to guide us through this forum so that we can counter the claim of the schools for fee hikes.

Welcome to this portal. We normally cannot challenge fees hike by the Public Schools. But you can see whether they are following the govt.guidelines in this regard. You can ask under RTI through District Education Officer.
