CIC compensates appellant Rs 1000 for having the correct IPO rejected by PIO
There have been several instances of CPIOs not accepting IPOs even though they are correctly drawn in favour of "Account Officer, xxxxxx".
In one such instance, involving Doordarshan, the CIC has now compensated the appellant a sum of Rs. 1000.00
