1. There is no such thing as a "File Inspection Report" under RTI.
But many times whenever I have inspected files, the PIO or the officer concerned has written a one page short note stating that so and so inspected so and so file under the RTI act on....etc.....
And then both of us sign it. This must be to ensure that the applicant does not say at a later stage that he was not allowed to inspect the file.

some CIC citations regarding the subject.
