CIC issues show cause notice to PIO of Allahabad High Court
In a recent order, CIC has issued a show cause notice to the PIO of Allahabad High Court since information about service records of a judge was provided after 7 months.
The CIC also found that the procedure followed by the Allahabad High Court - of seeking permission from Chief Justice before disclosing information - was too time consuming.
