how to file RTI for information that is termed "Confidential" Hi ,
My verification is pending at DM office Burdwan and i am unable to join my service.
As the verification reports are termed "confidential" how can i ask for the reports.
Also the verification process involves the local police station and DIB office do i need to make additional
RTI for both of these OR a single RTI will suffice.
CAN I FILE RTI AGAINST THE DM OFFICE ASKING HOW MUCH TIME IT WILL TAKE FOR THE VERIFICATION PROCESS TO BE COMPLETED?

If it is pending in the DMs office, then RTI has to be filed with the PIO of that office only.Sponsorer
Under RTI, you can only ask for "information". Please read Sec 2(f), 2(i) and 2(j) of the RTI Act: Right to Information Act 2005
