Private aided Colleges are Public Authorities
Kerala High Court noted that the private colleges were supported by the state government. One hundred percent of the salaries of college staff was provided by the state. The state closely regulated the admission procedure, the curriculum and the hiring and firing of teaching staff. Therefore the colleges were PA under the RTI.
