SIC has enough powers under Sec 20 to deal with contempt cases
Applicant filed a Second Appeal with Karnataka SIC and got an order for disclosure of information. However, the Public Authority did not provide the requested information in spite of the SIC order. Applicant approached High Court with a "Contempt" petition.
The High Court ruled that the applicant should approach the SIC itself since it had enough powers under Sec 20, to deal with contempt cases.
