A right can not be misused. information obtained by using this right may be put to use where another party feels it is a misuse.

Private Nursing Homes are outside ambit of RTI Act , so do not worry .

Hon'ble members. R.T.I. Act 2005 was broughtup by government of India to enhance transparency and accountability in the working of public authority. Function of private nursing homes is monitored by provate autonomous management body so exempted from disclosure. Since there are many nursing homes run by those people who does not retain appropriate degree or fulfil criteria/norms setup by governments so they feel some troubles due to transparency act causing indirect pressure through public authority.

Though the nursing home are outside the ambit of RTI Act, they are governed by rules and regulations framed by State and Central government. It is the nursing home which misuses the rules and not the person who tries to find out the information about the flouting of rules my the nursing home.
