However NPSC has been playing deaf and dumb by refusing to listen to the genuine enquiries and clarifications sought by some candidates in the past few days. The Commission has taken "a bad worker quarrels with his tools so leave him alone" attitude in the recent dissatisfactions expressed by some failed candidates in the prelims exam. When an institution or organization takes that attitude, transparency becomes irrelevant, NPSC should remember that the RTI Act was passed keeping in mind the importance of transparency in the administration and NPSC does not fall outside this purview. Many an eyebrows have been raised against NPSC after the declaration of the Prelims result. Therefore, it should at least declare the cut off mark and this issue be put to rest.
