I have drafted a RTI application addressed to ... Central Public Information Officer Northern Railway H.Q. Baroda House, New-Delhi-110001 P&T-011-23386863, Fax No.011-23384503 I am not sure 'in favour of' whom can I get the Demand draft of 10 Rs. ... Is it ok if I get in favour of “Accounts Officer, Northern Railway” payable at New Delhi. Anyone may please confirm this.      |

Jitendra ji 1. Demand draft is expensive, you can use IPO (economical and easily available) 2. In favour of Accounts officer is ok. 3.You can send an IPO with a blank payee's name, then add a line in your RTI application , that , you are not aware of the correct details and therefore leaving it blank. Request the PIO to fill up the name of the beneficiary/account of the PA. If you are so much worried about a wrong encashment, you can as well cross the IPO. Possibly this info will be of good help to you Revert back in case you did not find the solution, members will definitely help you out regards |
