RTI Act Answer Sheet destroyed fresh examination ordered
Right to Information Act, 2005 - Haryana Staff Selection Commission - Lecturer in Hindi - Posts reserved for Scheduled Caste (Female) - Destroyed the answer sheets/papers of the written examination - Held, the explanation given by the Secretary for not preserving the answer sheets for three months is frivolous and wholly unacceptable. The action of the officers of the Commission to destroy the record cannot but be termed as wholly arbitrary and unjustified. The sole object of this exercise appears to be to ensure that in the event of challenge to the result of the selection, the Court may not be able to scrutinize the record for the purpose of finding out whether the selection was fair and objective or the candidates had been subjected to invidious discrimination.

Re: RTI Act Answer Sheet destroyed fresh examination ordered
Hon'ble members. In view of your friend, the judgement of Hon'ble information commission is laudable by intelligentia class and anticorruption crusaders. This judgement will prove to be one of the landmark historic judgements. Here destruction of answersheets of aspirents by staff selection commission can never be justified. This decision of S.S.C. Was sheer arbitrary and unjustified. Ipsofacto obvious that there was evil motive of S.S.C. in destruction of answersheets. In view of your friend, secretary of SSC should have been prosecuted for sabotaging the public record when the matter was subjudiced. Thanks to information commission for providing justice to needy by directing reexamination.Sponsorer
