Applicant asked for copies of his ACRs.
Public authority defied the order of the commission by first claiming that they fell under 8(1)(j), then not giving copies of all ACRs and then stating that other ACRs are not available.
Hearings on:
6/4/2011
13/2/2012
30/3/2012
03/4/2012
and.....
still no information
still no penalty
only show cause notices being issued

Hon'ble members. How many times, show cause notices will be issued by these information commissioners. When other A.C.Rs. are not available , the F.I.R. must be lodged by the concerned so that police may search the missing A.C.Rs. Here repeated issuing show cause notices, and non compliance of it by PIO is only showing that PIO has no regard for direction of information commission and information commission itself lowering its dignity. Why information commission did not impose pecuniar penaly on the PIO under section 20(1) of R.T.I. Act 2005 for violating the provisions 7(1) of transparency act?Sponsorer

The said applicant is lucky. I today visited SIC office, Jaipur to know the status of complaint of non compliance (on SIC Decision order) filed by me an year ago. I was given to understand SIC has stopped accepting complaint of non compliance by PA/ PIO, under the light of some apex court judgment. It was suggested to me to file fresh RTI with PA to know the compliance status on SIC decision.
