Order of single judge upholding penalty set aside
The Patna High Court has recently passed a judgment wherein it has set aside the order of a single judge bench, which had earlier confirmed the imposition of Rs 25,000 Penalty.
The Court accepted the contention of the PIO that he had provided maximum amount of information before he was transferred and that the balance information was provided by his successor (when he was not in that office).
