Need Help: Need help in sending passport verification report from satara to passport office pune

Hi,
My self smita.I have applied for passport on 3-oct-2011 from phaltan dist:satara,maharashtra.
I have successfully done with police verification in nov first week at phaltan dist:satara,maharashtra.
Now still after 8 months passport office,pune saying that they had not recieved my police verification report from my district place satara.
And when i did enquiry at satara office Mr.Arvind kakade,who is responsible person for sending report to passport office,that he send that report in dec 2011 .
But from all enquiries i got to know that,Mr. Kakde has not sent the report and also he is not telling outward number of my file.
In case what i need to do.I my job is depend on it.
Please help me.

File a RTI application with the PIO of Satara Police (or the office which was supposed to send that report) and ask for the reference number, date and copy of the covering letter, under which your report was sent to the passport office.

You can file a RTI application with the PIO of Police. Details of PIO are available here: http://mahapolice.gov.in/ (under the RTI link) Or simply call that office and ask "Who is the PIO in your office under the RTI Act 2005. I want to file a RTI application." ?
