Re: Some Help With the study of RTI
Then under Sec 6(3) of the RTI Act, the PIO is supposed to transfer your RTI application to the PIO of the public authority that is likely to hold the information you requested.

Re: Some Help With the study of RTI
Hon'ble members. Practically section 6(3) of R.T.I. Act 2005 is applied by PIO of higher status public authority to transfer PIO of lower status public authority. For example, I sought some informations from chief secretary regarding the action of D.M. which may be given. Here PIO chief secretary will immediately transfer the RTI communique to D.M. . If information seeker seeks the information concerns with the closed function of chief secretary and mistakenly addressed to D. M. then this R.T.I. communique will never reach to C.S. Office under subsection 3 of section 6 of R.T.I. Act 2005. This RTI communique will be deemed meritless cum defective and no result will be reaped by information seeker.
