Incomplete/incorrect information furnished by a pio what to do?

Dear Respected Members,

Please find my RTI Application (Copy attached).
The PIO(Scanned copy attached) in her reply dated 28/05/2012, had give incorrect and incorrect/incomplete information to my application.
Can I go for an appeal with FAA? Or can I file an appeal with State Information Commission?
Please guide me.

You need to file a first appeal with the appellate authority of the office of the PIO, for incomplete and incorrect information

In this juncture my advise are:
1-Make First Appeal for getting sought information by you to FAA under Section 19(1) of RTI Act 2005.
AND SIDE BY SIDE
2- Make complaint to State Information Commission for Penalty to concerned PIO under Section 18 (1) (e) of RTI Act 2005 for providing incomplete and incorrect information.

And regarding your question "can I file an appeal with State Information Commission?"
Answer is that appeal to SIC under RTI Act 2005 is known as "Second Appeal",and this Second Appeal is available to you only after you availed the First Appeal to FAA.So in this stage appeal to SIC does not arise.

If u find the information's are incomplete / misleading you can go for a appeal under section 9(1) of the RTI act with FAA.
