GPF details to be provided to legally married wife under RTI

CIC has ruled that GPF details can be disclosed under RTI to the legally married wife.

Considering that the Appellant in this case is the legally married wife of the third party and in view of
the submission of the Appellant that her husband has been refusing to pay her any maintenance
allowance although she still remains his wife, the Commission directs the PIO to provide the required
information to the Appellant by 20 May, 2012.
