PIO transferring the RTI Application to his subordinates.
Dear and Respected Members,
I have a odd problem and let me explain below:
I have filed an RTI Application with PIO(Tamil Nadu State). The PIO whom I have sent the RTI Application is DISTRICT/DIVISION level PIO and under him there are about 20 to 22 PIO’s(Subordinate to him) working at Taluk level. The above said DISTRICT/DIVISION level PIO has simply forwarded the copy of my RTI Application to all his subordinates and he has not marked any copy to me or intimated the fact that he has forwarded the RTI Application to his subordinates. I do not know how many PIO’s are working under the DISTRICT/DIVISION level PIO. Now some of the Taluk level PIO’s have furnished information and many of the Taluk level PIO’s did not furnish any information even after the lapse of 35 days from the date of the receipt of my RTI Application.
Now
(a)Can file an appeal u/s 19(1) with the FAA against the DISTRICT/DIVISION level PIO.
or
(b)Can file a complaint against DISTRICT/DIVISION level PIO District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum.
Or
(c)Can ask the DISTRICT/DIVISION level PIO to furnish the list of PIO’s whom he has sent a copy of my RTI Application and file a complaint against Taluk level PIO’s before District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum.
Please advise me in this regard.

You can exercise all the 3 options, depending on your convenience.Sponsorer
However, the 1st option is the best and most practical, at this juncture.
