I think RTI Act makes it mandatory for courts to specify decision making process & own responsibility too
RTI Act, Chapter 2 is on Right to information and obligation of Public Authorities and Section 04 deals on mandatory / voluntary disclosure,
Rule 1-b, Sub-Items
iii. the procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability; iv. the norms set by it for the discharge of its functions;
v. the rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions;
vi. a statement of the categories of documents that are held by it or under its control;
vii. the particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by, the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof;
viii. a statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public;
I FEEL THESE MAKE IT MANDATORY FOR COURTS TO:
1. ACCOUNT FOR THE PROCESSES THAT IT ADOPTS AND
2. FIX RESPONSIBILITY ON INDIVIDUALS.
It would be nice if members discuss this aspect.

Re: I think RTI Act makes it mandatory for courts to specify decision making process & own responsibility too
All PAs, for that matter, all that is called as governMINT where pErmanence etc is claimed should DEFINITELY ACCOUNT FOR WHATEVER IT DRAWS, DOES. These items in the RTI act are resultant of v.v.v.v sound thinking and is based on first hand experience. Kudos RTI drafters, whoever it be.Sponsorer
All honest citizens, society per se should not fear wrath of this and that individual/position of power. It/they should invoke this act and make PAs account, its individuals account.
Individuals, pErmanents are enjoying too much of immunity and are getting away with anything and everything.
It is imperative for RTI community to evolve legally enforceable, fool proof way to invoke above clauses, save from clutches and get justice if something adverse has happened. PLEASE WAKE UP FATHERS, MOTHERS, BROTHERS, SISTERS, RTI COMMUNITY per se. Please contribute meaningfully to this discussion and address this menace.
