Regarding the medical fit up sign of the doctor for the Driving licence purpose Dear All,
Today I needed a doctors signature for my medical fitnees purpose in the driving licence .
When I approached my district hospital (Sadar Aspatal) , I came to know that for any sort of
medical fitness certificate , I will have to give a sum of Rs 100/- for the same , They further told
that , the fees was being taken as per the District commissioner guidelines . I also agreed and gave a sum of Rs 100/- but they denied to give us the receipt for the said amount given by me , and assured me that you dont worry , your work will be done . After that when I started discussing for this with the concerned persons over there , they were forced to give me the receipt of the sum of Rs 100. Now the thing is that I want to know , whether the money that I have deposited is okokkkk or not ???? How can I know the information regarding the truth lying behind?????Kindly You all suggest me , how to find the truth ???

Re: Regarding the medical fit up sign of the doctor for the Driving licence purpose
You can file a RTI application with the PIO of the office of District Commissioner and ask for:Sponsorer
."Certified copies of all rules, regulations, circulars, memorandums, etc., under which any instructions have been given to...........collect any charges for issuing......................"
Details of PIO will be available on the website of the organisation/department, under the "RTI" link. Or simply call that office and ask "Who is the PIO in your office under the RTI Act 2005. I want to file a RTI application." ?
Your RTI Application has to be as per the RTI Rules and Fees for that State.
These are available in the Guide section of the Portal: RTI Guide
Please read the other articles in the Guide section as well as the links given in the FAQ here: RTI FAQ
These will be of help to you during the RTI process.
