Need Help: Detailed Project Report under RTI Act ?

Gd afternoon .
For implementing some projects through Private Enterpriners, the DPR will be prepared at his own cost and submitted to the Government sector. If any one asks the DPR under RTI, can we give a copy?

Project Report prepared by Private Company and submitted to a Government Company cannot deny under the RTI Act. These documents are in public domain & should be supplied if demanded under the RTI Act, 2005.

Hon'ble member. There is need to put more light on raised query. If the project report has been prepared at the cost of public authority and not submitted to company in fiduciary relationship then its certified can be provided by PIO of public authority (government company) under transparency act to information seeker. If private company submitted the project report in fiduciary relationship and its cost of preparation was aforded by private company then such information can not be provided by PIO of public authority unless public interest warrants so.

You should first complete formality u/s 11.

Also check if any information in the DPR is deniable under any of the subsection of Sec 8.
If it is, then you can follow procedure in sec 10 by severing that part of the DPR which contains the deniable information.
