| sir, after reply of PIO i submit application to SCIC under RTI act sec. 18 against PIO. my hearing is on dt. 25/11/08. SCIC send me letter for present on that day. pl.tell me my presence is compulsary or opetional. is any action may be taken by SCIC, against me for absent . |

No action can be taken and attendance of complainant is purely optional. But if the matter is important it would be advisable to attend the hearing so that you can put forward your points strongly. For your information, CIC and some SICs also provide the option of attending the hearing through audio conferencing wherein you can attend the hearing right over phone, sitting in your home/office. By the way, could you please inform me what is the current pendency time in Rajasthan SIC? |
